second activity

aim: today zach and I will be trying activity 4: choose a conservation issue that people have different viewpoints with a friend role play a discussion that shows these opposing views

method:


  • first write a script that zach and i create
  • practice the script and act out so it is all ready to record
  • once recorded have evidence to show we did not copy and paste

first activity

aim: today I will be trying to do activity 2: create one song or poem with a conservation message

method:
  1. write a acrostic poem with conservation as the word
  2. check if the poem works and makes sense
  3. check with Mrs. Aitken
  4. publish (fix if not okay)
C - conserve your water
O - other energy is good to use
N - never waste
S - stall food decay by putting food in your fridge
E - energy has multiple forms
R - really care about your vegetables so they don't die
V - verify that your toilets don't leak
A - after eating put the leftovers away
T - time how long it takes for your vegetables and fruit to grow
I - inform others about conservation
O - over watering is bad for plants
N - never use things when you don't need it

Uru Manaka logo design

for the Uru Mānaka logo i used the maroon and white flower to symbolise the mānaka flower in bloom the green circles resemble pieces of land in the wetland and the blue resembles the water of the wetlands and i used maroon for the name to catch the attention against the teal blue of the water
