Elephantiasis is caused by obstruction of the lymphatic system, which results in the accumulation of a fluid called lymph in the affected areas. Functioning as part of the immune system, the lymphatic system helps to protect the body against infection and disease.

General treatment measures include bed rest, elevation of affected limbs and wrapping the limbs in compression bandages. This helps to bring down the swelling. If there are signs of infection, generally the next measure is taking care of the skin on the foot and leg to prevent any infection that may worsen the swelling. The skin should be washed carefully and dried. Nails are clipped and cleaned to avoid injury and inadvertent infection

Orana Wildlife Park

Orana Wildlife Park was good overall I enjoyed most of it and I would have liked it if one of the kea's landed on my head or shoulder. I really enjoyed the tigers because they sounded kike a zombie in minecraft and it was super funny. Everything was all right but the giraffes would not eat our leaves =,(.
I liked how there were lots of different types of animals and they all are special in their own way.
I say if you want to go to it.
