Child slavery is still a large thing today with millions of children in slavery some even having their whole family in slavery it’s considered illegal in multiple countries but the police aren’t doing anything to enforce the law, meaning that most people will get away with it.
In pakistan there are so many children making bricks, carpets etc and there is nothing the police can do about it due to the numbers and most aren’t against child labour cause it could mean that there are less juvenile delinquents on the streets and less people they need to arrest and take custody of
There are so many people in slavery and some that managed to escape like Iqbal who escaped from his masters twice before freeing the people he was working with and allowing them to be freed from slavery
So in short child slavery is still big in the world today and most countries it’s taking place in are doing nothing about it because the police are biased or just want child labour to be a thing
